Our EVOO “Aurum Breuni” is for sale
Produced from our 100 olive trees of Casaliva variety
We have named our Olive Oil 'Aurum Breuni' (Gold of the Brione), taking the Latin name that the Romans used to call the olive oil from Monte Brione, comparing it, because of its quality, to Gold.
Our extra virgin olive oil is the product of just over one hundred olive trees of the Casaliva variety.
The olive trees are located on the slopes of Monte Brione, just 500 meters from the Locanda.
They belonged to our grandparents: that's why we lovingly care for them throughout the year, so that they continue to produce a great quality oil.
We harvest the olives in October and take them to be pressed on the same day at the Cru-Olive Oil Mill in Riva del Garda.
The early harvest and immediate milling produce an oil that has a low yield but maintains the organoleptic characteristics of the olives unchanged, with very low residual acidity (an absolute parameter of quality).
We produce little, but good oil.
We use it every day on the tables at Restel de Fer and sell it throughout the year, taking care to keep a supply for ourselves as well.
